The greater first made it tree He caused the water from the land to recede Then that ground the planet seed It wasn't an ordinary seed, as you will see For from that seed grew noble tree All round noble tree the creator planted a garden And noble tree was supposed to be the warden You see noble tree was a special creature For a tree it had some very unusual features One thing special about noble tree was he could talk And if that wasn't unusual enough he could also walk As you see noble tree was a very special being For the creator not only made him wise but also seeing The creator made him in this special way So we could watch over and take care of his creatures in every way And that's what noble tree would do He spent his days and nights watching over them and taking care of them to But noble tree with his job became very board It wasn't taking care the creatures for that job he truly adored The problem was when the creator made him he gave noble tree an imagination And as the creator was forming the earth noble tree would stand at the edge of the garden held there by his fascination Because of all the things the creator was doing with his mighty hand And all noble tree could think of was to walk throughout the land Seeing and feeling the sensation Of the creator's spectacular new creation One-day the creator decided to take a break He went into the garden and set by its Lake That’s when noble tree came to his side And at that time about his feelings with the creator he did confide He explained to the creator he truly loved his job so But there was so much outside of the garden to know And he felt he needed that knowledge for his wisdom to grow He asked the creator's permission if outside the garden he could go To travel about the land And to experience the creation first hand The creator asked what would I do without you There’s no one else here that can do what you do Noble tree answered could you not make another tree That is agile and wise as me The creator spoke I could but you know what I believe That he too would want to leave For once you tasted the unknown You can't be happy till all around you is known So as of now from your duties in the garden I relieve you Go and do what you have to do And when you get tired of your quest for wisdom There will always be a place in my kingdom So noble tree what went on all his way? Although he felt he should stay But the quest for wisdom was way to strong So he went regardless if he thought it was right or wrong But as he was leaving He looked back he saw the creator already making another being Out of clay he made it with his own hand And he heard the creator call this being man So noble tree left the garden in God hands And in the hands of Adam the first man And he went to travel around the earth Truly experienced its new birth [2] NOBLE TREE AND THE RISING SON Let it not be Said the tall and noble tree With tears in its eyes It let out a great sigh For as it stood on a hill overlooking the city He saw three men carrying crosses and beaten by guards who had no pity Two of the men he did not know While seeing the third man caused him great woe I've seen this man before It’s the one the great creator truly adores And through his compassionate hands He healed a many creatures throughout this land What injustice is being done? To the creators one and only son Have all mankinds Finally lost their minds That they would even considered doing these things To the Son of God and their future king What kind of great disaster Will they bring upon themselves for what they do to the young master? As noble tree stood on the hill He watched them nail to a tree and finally kill The one and only a Lord and savior That kept them in God's favor Noble tree wondered what vengeance God would take on a tree like him For after all God's son did die on a cross made from a tree limb He could see all the earth scorched by fire And nothing could stop it if it was God's desire As noble tree watched them take God son down from the cross He could only think of what a great loss To all the creatures who lived on this earth For they had lost a man of great worth He also waited for the fire and brimstone To come down to earth from God on his throne But the fire and brimstone never came And all these he felt was a feeling of shame For it was on one of his kin That mankind had committed this great sin For three days noble tree did weep Not once did he sleep He just stood there And at the tomb of Christ he did stare He had a feeling deep within That this was not the son God's end And on the third day that feeling was proved right For from Christ's tomb came a glorious light Then the Stone at the entrance rolled away and noble tree saw a wondrous site He saw the son of God walk away from the tomb in the early morning light And noble tree knew that everything would be all right For the creator had raised his son from deaths dark night [3] NOBLE TREE SAVED BY THE WILD Long time ago when Gods presence could felt throughout land When his love and support was in demand Off the people were healthy and not even the elders were feeble That is because God provided all for his people Within this heavily bliss arose a small but strong tribe A tribe that at first in Gods for all their needs relied But as their power and strength grew They turned away from the God they once knew And started relying on themselves for all their needs and Instead of living off land that God provided they planted seeds Instead of living in the wild under God's protective hand They build houses and cleared the land Nothing seemed sacred anymore For they didn't hesitate to destroy all that God did adore They separated themselves from the other tribes For with him they could no longer abide They no longer worshiped the God of the land For the now believe that he was only a creation of man Once God was exceedingly glad But now because of them he was terribly sad He caused the clouds to cover the sky So to hide them from his eyes Because of this no one saw the Suns light And the day became as night The other tribes came together in the twilight To decide what to that would be right to in god’s sight After they argued for many a Day They finally came up with an idea they thought was the only way To end the endless night And bring back the Suns light They must utterly destroy the tribe And all the homes that in they did abide None of the tribe should survive So that the evil could not be revived Not even the children shall be left to tell the tale At this they heard a sorrowful wail All though they searched around They could not find the source of the sound They did not know noble tree was there and had heard all that was said And what he had heard had filled him with dread Noble tree thought there must be something done But what for the children were many and he was only one So with all his might He searched for an answer that was right After a while when an answer did not come He went to source all wisdom comes from To the master and creator of all things To the one all angels sing Songs about his love mercy and Grace For he knew God would not allow the destruction of an entire a race So noble tree raised his arms toward heaven and he began to pray Gods sent him an answer to him right away The answer was right there before his eyes With this knowledge came relief and he let out a sigh For the answer was in the animals of the land And with then he would make a stand That would protect and hopefully give the renegade drive a change of heart And with that a new start So he let out a cry known by all of the animals A cry that they knew that meant for them to come and assemble And the animals came to him at a run They were all assembled before the setting of the sun He spoke to them in the tongue of the Spirit And in their own language they did to hear it He told them what they must do Before the night was through He told the animals about his plan that would save the men, women and children And would bring them to their knees to be forgiven Well he sent them out to do their job And noble tree said a prayer for guidance from God It was a wonderful plan God gave him For if it he would save all of them So off through the night the animals did not sleep Into all the homes of the renegade tribe they did creep The people ran from the houses in fright When they were confronted by the animals in the dark of the night The people did not have time to fight back Although they didn't have to worry for the animals would not attack For they had only one thing to do That was to get the people to noble tree before the night was through And they got them there safely Them once there they held them there securely The animals held them until the coming of the light And when the other tribe's came it was a wonderful sight Because they were all on their knees praying In hopes that their lives and soul God would be saving They knew that God was the one that kept the animals at bay With this act it would cause their evil heart to sway And bring him back to him When the other tribes saw them They forgot what they had planned to do that Day And they through their weapons away When noble tree saw this He created a cloud of dust and he and the animals became amiss The tribe that God saved worshiped him from that day on And all the tribes from that day on became one [4] NOBLE TREE AND THE GREAT FLOOD As noble tree was wondering through the Promised Land God came to him and took him by the hand He told noble tree he was tired of all the wickedness on this earth These days I cannot find on it much of any worth Satan has taken all that was once good here And turned it into evil I fear Even the animals are evil in end their own away From their natural way of life they have strayed They no longer follow the laws of the land But they try to duplicate the actions of man Just to see them doing things against my will Makes me very ill So I have come to a conclusion I am going to flood the land and cleanse it of all the pollution And make the land free of sin Then maybe I'll start again Noble tree also had been walking throughout the land And he to had seen in the evil of man He also knew that all were not that way There was still a few who knew how to pray He knew first hand that Noah and his Suns Were truly known as righteous ones They did everything right according to gods word And their lives should be preserved As noble tree was about to say this to God God was already answering him with a nod God said I know about Noah, his children and his wife And you’re right I should spare their life So I will have him build a large boat And when the water comes in it they will float Noble tree told God surely not all beasts are bad And to destroy the good with the bad would be sad God told noble tree he was right again And he would send him to collect all those who were not contaminated by man So noble tree traveled through out the land Getting all the animals not affected by man Can he took them to Noah’s home And they put them in pens so they would not roam Noah didn't know what to think of noble tree Of course it was something no one ever sees The most any has ever seen was maybe a glimpse as noble tree went by And they didn't see that if they blinked their eyes Noble tree was very fast So an impression of him would not last As long as noble tree was not known by Man He was free to roam throughout the land But God had told Noah about him And for Noah to have the pens ready for him But still when Noah saw noble tree He was something amazing to see For he was to big as a house But he was quiet as a mouse Not a sound did he make? With each step that he did take Noble tree asked Noah what else he needed for the building of the ark The voice that Noah heard was as sweet and soft as a meadowlark Noah said I need trees for the boards That I will use for the walls and Floors As you can see noble tree There’s not many around here to see At least not many that would be sea worthy Noble tree told Noah not worry He would bring to Noah what he needed And do everything he could to help Noah to ensure gods plan succeeded After saying this noble tree slipped away And Noah didn't see him for a many a day While noble tree went towards the North Woods Noah worked on the ark and did what he could Noble tree made it to the woods in the night And he waited for the coming of the sunlight When the day he finally came He called upon God by his name He asked God for the power over the trees So from the dirt he could set them free And then he could lead them To the land of Noah so they could be used by him To finish building the ark as God had planned So Noah, his family and the animals would be safe when God flooded the land God answered noble trees request And noble tree out of all the trees chose the best He called for then to come free of the land They had no choice but to do as the command They gathered around him like sheep does a shepherd Noble tree waited for the night before he led been southward He waited till the dark of the night So the darkness would conceal them from human sight When darkness did come to the land Noble tree uttered aloud command With noble tree in the Lead The journey to Noah’s land did proceed Through the land of man they did go So quietly that man would never know It wasn't long before they reached Noah’s home And once again they were planted so they could not roam When Noah woke the next day He said to himself in disbelief no way For where there was once nothing to see Now all around his home was a forest of trees More than enough for the work to proceed And to insure that the ark would succeed At the head of them all Was noble tree standing tall? When noble tree spoke this time his voice because of weariness sounded rough As he asked Noah if he had brung enough Noah answered yes with a nod And they both bowed their heads and thanked God Noble tree told Noah he could not stick around And watch Noah cut the trees down Noble tree knew that the trees would not feel any pain But just the same he would leave and return before the rain Noble tree then left Noah alone And across the land he began again to roam In hopes that he would find Other animals not affected by humankind On his journey he met a unicorn A horse that had on its head a single horn A beautiful creature With some other special features Like noble tree it could talk and it could do one other special thing With the voice of the angel it could sing As noble tree listened to one of its beautiful songs He tried to convince it to come along But the unicorn was very proud And it didn't like Being in a crowd So no matter what noble tree did or said The unicorn refused to be led So the unicorn noble tree could not convince That is why you haven't seen a unicorn since So with a heart filled with dismay Noble tree went on his way All along his travels He met a many more animals That he felt worthy of saving if he could For there were still many more animals not altered by man and his brood Some would listen to noble tree Than again some would not and from noble tree they would flee Of course some did understand And noble tree sent them Noah’s land That way they would be safe from the water But as for the others Noble tree left alone And throughout the land he continued to Roam By chance or not be met another amazing animal that he could not make believe For the Devil had him deceived The once powerful dragon Who thought greatly of himself for he was always bragging? That he was the most powerful being under the sun Because of all the things in his lifetime that he had done And all mankind was afraid of him For he could do what he would with them But he too did perish For it was the Devil not God that he did cherish After a long while noble trees journey came to an end For he had made a great circle and arrived where his journey had began By this time the ark was completed And the task of getting all the animals aboard had succeeded The clouds in the sky had gotten dark As Noah and his family entered the ark As Noah shut the door The rain came down with a roar Noble tree climbed up to the Stern of the boat Where he would steer it when it began to float It wasn't long before the ship began to rise Then noble tree heard the sound of human cries Nothing more horrible than that sound Of the men, women, and children being drowned After awhile all those sounds seemed to go away Except for one little cry heard all that they As the water and boat rose higher Noble tree could still here the crier When noble tree looked over the side He saw child in a bucket full of t tears that it had cried Without a moment to think Noble tree reached out and took the child before the bucket could sink Noble tree held the child in is all arms Completely enthralled by its charms He held it there for quite awhile As he steered the ship for a many a mile Singing sweet nothing's in its ears To quiet down its fears He covered it up with its branches to keep it dry And after awhile it ceased to cry Feeling safe and secure It fell asleep and its sounds were like a small kitten’s purr Why oh why Didn’t noble tree just let the child die? For noble tree had no fitted food to give it And it would starve without it It would have been better for the water to take its breath Then for noble tree to have to watch is starve to death With nothing else that he could do He went to the one that could make all things new He looked up to heaven and began to pray Knowing that only God can make things better in every way Oh my father up in heaven Please forgive this child for misbehaving If not for the child do it for me Make this child into a tree Before noble tree could finish his prayers A part of the clouds began to tear And through them a light did shine Where the light shown the rain stop for a moment of time Noble tree set the child in the light And a child looked up toward heaven with delight As quick as you could count to three The child became a beautiful tree A tree would branches it loved to Wiggle And a voice that was filled with giggles Such a happy tree it became That noble tree had no problem with its name Ailanthus it would be called because of its craving For the light and love of God in heaven For it was born of the light of God's love That he sent down from heaven above Each day at a certain time On Ailanthus the sun would shine And day by day Ailanthus grew strong Every day it would send praise to God with song A song of adoration To the master of all creation Forty days and night the rain came down Till there was nothing but water all around Then the rain stopped and the clouds did break And once again the sun did awake The water began to recede Of course that made everyone happy indeed Soon the water was gone And the purging of the earth was done Then one day the land was dry And noble tree and Ailanthus left the ark with a sigh They sunk their roots into the dirt And stood there very alert Listening to signs of life But it was so quiet you could cut it with a knife For all that was once alive under the sun Was now dead and gone Soon Noah and his family came out Praising God with a great shout God looked down at his children And told them never again will I destroy all creation because of man's sins I will place a rainbow in the rain clouds as proof of this promise That the waters of the great flood will never again arise And only man will pay the cost Without the rest of creation being lost And with that Promise noble tree and the children of God went into the land that was made a new And once again the population of earth grew [5] NOBLE TREE AND THE NEWBORN KING Upon my travels throughout creation As I was in a Far Eastern nation I can upon three kings of old Wise in and all things I am told While they were in their realms Angels came to each of them Telling them how through a virgin birth God had sent his only so to earth To bring salvation to every man In every nation of every land At once each King set their house in order And started a journey across many borders They worried not which went way to go For they followed a star that set the heavens aglow So bright was its glorious light They could see it in the broad daylight So they never worried about going to stray Whether they traveled during night or day Over the mountains so steep And through the desert heat They did not cease their quest To see the child with which the earth, God had blessed At the shores of the Jordan River All three kings joined together For they each came for the same thing To pay respects to the newborn king Across many a mile that took a many a day I noble tree followed them as they made their way For I to sought out the newborn kings About which the Angels of heaven did sing We crossed the Jordan and entered into Jerusalem In hopes of hearing news of him Upon entering the city king Herod seeked us out For this child we searched for he wished to no more about After telling King Herod all they knew They once again started their journey a new The star that they followed appeared again to them And it was seen in the direction of Bethlehem They traveled all-day and rested that night And went to a home lit by the heavenly stars light In the home they found a child of two That one-day would die for me and you As the three kings went inside I looked through the window from the outside I saw at once his father's features They were the same as my creator and teacher God was the father of this young boy And the thought of this brought me great joy The three kings gave him great treasures And received from him love without measure After a short stay The three kings when on their way They went another way to their homeland For a angel had told them of King Herod plans To find out from them on how to get to the child’s home And to kill the child he feared as a threat to his throne The angel also told Joseph and Mary In Bethlehem they should not tarry They should travel to the Egyptians shore And live there till King Herod was no more They traveled to Egypt as the angel had said And stayed there till King Herod was dead As they got ready to go to the land of the pharaoh The child of the father that I loved so Came out of the house and spoke to me I know you oh magnificent tree From a seed in my fathers hand you were made To be a shepherd to all that lived in the Garden of Eden’s glade But you decided you needed your freedom So you could travel the land in search of wisdom So my father let you go Although it caused him great woe For the ones that he made to take your place Did not take long before they fell from his grace They did not listen to my father and committed a sin And because of that sin they were forced to leave the garden Then because of the sins them and their children did commit Is the true reason of my earthly visit? To teach them how they can be cleansed Of all their earthly sins And once again travel upon the road That leads to my father's heavenly abode He could see the amazement in my eyes For in fact I was amazed because he was so wise Not only that he could talk as good as you and me And he was between the ages two and three Before I could ask God's son How all this was done He said God speaks through me with his spirit And because of your love for him you can hear it After he said this mother marry called for him He told me he had to go with them Bus once again on another day I would see him in a different way All that day I'll have completed the job That I was sent here to do by God So with a tear in my eye I said my goodbye And as I went on my way I knew that I would see him again one-day [6] " Noble Tree at the crossing of the Jordan" As I stood at the edge of the Jordan River I saw Joshua and God's people coming hither They were finally going to be allowed across After spending forty years in the wilderness lost As all the people camped at its side I saw Joshua with an angel confide Then the trumpets began to sound And all the people gathered around For Joshua had something to say About what would happen the very next day He told them how they would cross the River into the Promised Land And they would do this upon dry land He said the ark would be carried before them And although the Jordan was filled to the brim When the priest’s feet touched the waters edge The River would be parted as with a wedge And when the priests had reached mid River Than all the people would go for thither One man from each tribe Would wait here on this side To make sure no one is left behind And when they cross near the foot of the priests they will find A stone to be carried to the other shore For remembrance of what God did for the people he adored Then the priests will go forward to the other shore And has they leave the River It will return as it was before In the morning the people crossed without anything going wrong Although it to look all the day long And it was very late When the River returned to its original state As they gathered to give God thanks They heard and saw a child cry from the opposite bank It was a child full of fright Crying in the twilight I saw and heard the child too And I wondered what I could do She had been chasing butterflies and had gotten lost Now because of this she had missed her chance to get across As I stood there thinking God showed me away That I could save the day I lay in the water next to the bank And swallowed water until I sank Just under the water I did float Like a half sunk boat Then I floated down the stream Till the child could be seen When I saw her standing there She was trembling with fear but when I stopped in front of her She saw that I was just to tree So she started to walk across me It must have looked like a miracle to them To see the child walking a cross water instead of having to swim What they could not see Was that she was actually walking on me As she walked I floated to the far shore And by the time she got to the point she could not walk anymore I head reached the opposite shores edge And see walk from me to its ledge Her mother to her in her arms with the sob Because of a tree she had one more reason to be thankful to God
